hereismylittlepieceoftheworld asked: Hello! :) I'm 14 and I'm interested in being a ballerina. Not in the professional sense but I want to take my classes seriously and work my hardest. However, I quit ballet when I was 10 years old and now that I want to pick it up again my studio has 2 options for me. 1. beginner (1 class/week) or 2. intensive (3-4 classes/week). The intensive is at the discretion of the teacher and I am really nervous she will say no. In all honesty I think I might cry if she says no. Any advice? Thank you! :)
For starters if you want to do it, go for it. Trust me you’ll regret it if you don’t. And also having the want to do it and to be good, teachers can pick up on that and they like it
As far as dance advice, practice. Practice your weaknesses of course, but when you get frustrated to what you’re good at to keep a positive attitude.
Don’t over work yourself, or get to stressed out about it
Idk if this was any help so let me know if you need any other advice
